The Kabusecha Asanoyu Tokujou brings the heritage of the southern Japanese islands to your cup. Yakushima provides this green tea with a clear regional framework, while the name Asanoyu Tokujou appears calm and minimalist.
With Asatsuyu, the profile takes on a softer, umami-rich direction. In the cup, the tea presents itself as well-rounded and green, accessible enough for everyday use and yet clear enough if you wish to consciously brew your Kabusecha pure.
The tea comes from the first spring harvest, Ichibancha. This early season sets a fresh, green framework and fits well with a Kabusecha that is intended to be smooth rather than edgy.
