An organic Matcha from Kagoshima for a calm Usucha cup
Matcha Tenno, organic relies on Kagoshima as its southern Japanese origin and on Saemidori as cultivar. In the cup it presents itself calm, green and accessible – for anyone who wants to drink Matcha pure, without any single note becoming too loud.
Sensorially it shows itself balanced, with a clear Umami side and smooth profile. Usucha brings the Matcha into the cup without milk or recipe context: light, direct and close to the powder.
For this Matcha, leaves are processed that were shaded for 20 to 30 days directly on the plant; this method is called Jikase-kaen. The medium steaming level Chumushi maintains the balance between clear structure and more body.
Milling is done on Ishiusu, the granite stone mill. In addition comes the organic certification according to DE-ÖKO-006. Together with the smooth sensory profile and calm Umami, Tenno works well in your Usucha preparation.
