An organic Benifuuki powder from Kagoshima for cooking and DIY cosmetics
This Benifuuki powder focuses on clear, functional use: for recipes, baked goods, mixed drinks, and topical formulations where tea powder is intentionally used as an ingredient.
Sensory-wise, it presents as floral and spicy. The floral side brings a brighter aromatic direction, while the spicy notes provide structure to the profile.
The powder comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and is organic certified according to DE-ÖKO-013. The leaves were grown unshaded, which suits a sun-accentuated, present green tea profile.
The harvests range from Ichibancha, the first spring harvest, to Nibancha from summer, and Akibancha from autumn. Irimushi, the ultra-high-heat processing, gives the product a distinct processed framework; it is ground using a ball mill.
