An organic Matcha blend from Kagoshima for lattes and skincare
Matcha Delight XL, organic combines Japanese organic matcha with organic coconut blossom sugar in a large 1 kg pack. The blend contains 20% organic matcha and 80% organic coconut blossom sugar. On the palate, it is tart at its core with a caramel accent.
For Matcha Latte or Iced Latte, the Matcha brings its green profile into milk or a plant-based drink, while the caramel note adds a warm side to the cup. For skincare formulations, you use the powder as an ingredient in topical DIY blends.
The Matcha comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan. This blend uses Yabukita, Saemidori and Yutakamidori; the cultivars combine a classic green base, a smoother green direction and direct green tea character.
The tea comes from the first spring harvest (Ichibancha) and was grown unshaded, close to a sun-forward profile. The medium steaming level Chumushi strikes a balance between clear structure and more body; it is milled with a ball mill.
