An organic Matcha with mulberry leaves from Kagoshima for lattes and cooking
Magic Mulberry features a green composition of 60% Tencha Matcha and 40% mulberry leaves. This blend is ideal if you wish to use Matcha in drinks, desserts, or recipes and are looking for an accessible, subtly sweet profile.
Sensory-wise, it reveals a subtly sweet side that feels smooth in a Matcha latte with milk or plant-based drinks. The Matcha also blends well into baked goods and mixed drinks without losing its green character.
The tea comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan. It is processed using leaves from Ichibancha, the first spring harvest, and Nibancha, the summer harvest; thus, the early, fresh season meets a more direct harvest period.
The leaves grow under Jikase-kaen, or direct shading on the plant, for 7 to 14 days. The final grinding takes place in Germany using a ball mill, complemented by organic certification according to DE-ÖKO-013.
