An organic Matcha from Kirishima for concentrated Koicha
Matcha Emerald Forest Supreme, organic focuses on a calm, dense cup: soft in profile, subtly sweet and rounded with a clear Umami side. It is suitable for Koicha if you wish to enjoy Matcha in its pure and concentrated preparation.
Koicha stands for a concentrated preparation with little water and places the powder more firmly at the center. The balanced sensory characteristics give the tea contour without individual notes becoming too loud.
The tea comes from Kirishima in Kagoshima and is organic-certified according to DE-ÖKO-003. For this Matcha, leaves were processed that had been shaded for 20 to 30 days.
Grinding is done with Ishiusu, the granite stone mill. This classic stone grinding suits its puristic use as Koicha.
