An organic Matcha from Miyazaki for latte and clear Usucha preparation.
Matcha Miyazaki originates from southern Japan, bringing a serene, green profile to your cup. It is ideal for Matcha Latte, allowing the tea powder to stand out against milk or plant-based drinks, and also functions perfectly as Usucha if you prefer to drink it pure and direct.
Sensorially, it presents as both smooth and tart: the tart note provides contour, while the smooth side makes it more approachable. Creamy roundness and fruity notes introduce a bright, modern tension to the profile without overwhelming it.
Saemidori, Yabukita, and Kanayamidori are used for this blend. Yabukita provides a clear, green base, Saemidori gives the profile a softer green direction, and Kanayamidori adds a calm green line.
The leaves grow under Jikase-kaen, meaning direct shading on the plant, for 20 to 30 days. The medium steaming level, Chumushi, strikes a balance between clear structure and more body; grinding is done with a jet mill. Organic certified according to DE-ÖKO-007.
