An organic Benifuuki from Kagoshima with a tart, direct profile
Aki-Benifuuki is an organic Japanese tea for days when you seek something clear in your cup: green, straightforward, and without much ornament. Its tart note provides contour and makes it pleasantly present.
In the cup, it presents itself tart, green, and direct. The drier, near-bitter direction suits you if you enjoy Japanese green tea with a clear edge.
The tea comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and from the autumn harvest Akibancha. This harvest period places the tea in a calmer, more straightforward framework.
The leaves were grown unshaded. Irimushi, the ultra-high heated processing, gives the tea a distinctly processed framework; organic certification is according to DE-ÖKO-013.
