An organic Gyokuro from Yakushima with sweet texture and maritime Umami
Gyokuro Kyû Tennen is a Japanese green tea from Yakushima, an island origin in southern Japan. It brings this regional character calmly into the cup and presents itself reduced, clear and close to the leaf.
Sensorially, it presents itself with a sweet texture, floral notes and subtly maritime Umami. The luminous moss-green infusion gives the cup a green presence visually as well.
This Gyokuro uses the Asatsuyu cultivar. It comes directly from the Watanabe tea gardens in Japan and is suitable for pure preparation, where texture and Umami are given space.
Certified organic according to DE-ÖKO-039 and packaged in a 50 g pouch: a clear size for those who wish to prepare Gyokuro consciously and regularly.
