An organic-certified Kabusecha from Kagoshima with a dense, green cup
Kabuse No. 2 focuses on a calm, accessible green tea character: smooth, fresh, and softly aromatic. The cup displays a vibrant green, accompanied by a scent of young greens and a gentle sweetness that gives the tea a pleasant depth.
For your daily preparation, it brings enough presence without appearing heavy. Gentle sweetness and nuanced Umami keep the profile soft, while the fresh note gives the tea an immediate effect.
The tea comes from Kagoshima, an important tea region in southern Japan, and from the Nibancha summer harvest. The leaves were shaded directly on the plant for 7 to 14 days: Jikase-kaen.
Fukamushi, the long steaming process, gives the tea more presence in the cup and a denser green tea profile. Organic-certified according to DE-ÖKO-013.
